You've exceeded the capacity limit for dataset refreshes

Data source error: You've exceeded the capacity limit for dataset refreshes. Try again when fewer datasets are being processed.

We have total 16 datasets per 75 workspaces. what would be the best approach we need to follow for powerBi import mode refresh schedules .we need the dataset to be refreshed every 30 minutes

Hi. The error means the capacity might be overloaded at that time. If you want to work with many datasets at the same time you have to make sure the data model is well done, best practices involved. You can also make sure you downsize it with all practices: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/guidance/import-modeling-data-reduction

Once all that is done check how time it takes to refresh. Analyze the refresh times of the capacity to make sure there isn't one single time that is refreshing 90% of the datasets. Maybe you can do it every 30 minutes except the time that are refreshing alot of them. Also talk with users to check if it's really neccesary the 30 minutes or if it's just because "they want". It's not very frequent the scenario.

If you have done all that and still having the error, you might want to consider incremental refresh to reduce the refreshes at the data models in order to avoid the overload.

At the end of the day if any of that works, you might need to increase the capacity.

I hope that helps,
