Workspace Options

Why are the menus different for different workspaces?

What defines which set of options you get?

In the 'Old Workspace', the options displayed were Workspace Settings & Workspace Access. This was the same for both Premium and Non-premium. In the new workspace the extended options we see include Files, Members, Calendar, Conversations, Edit this Workspace, Leave Workspace

Thanks

Hi there

It is defined if you are using the Old App Workspaces or the Modern (New) App Workspaces.

In the near future all App Workspaces will be moving to the Modern App Workspaces, which will make the experience consistent.

Thank You GilbetQ, is there any way to update the options in the old wspace to match those of the new?

Hi there

Yes you can upgrade your existing App Workspaces.

Here is the official link from Microsoft:https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-upgrade-your-classic-workspaces-to-the-new-works...
