What is "Unnamed User" ?

Hy,

I have shared reports with some groups inside my organization and I want to see the users metrics.  When I go to metrics I get many "Unnamed User". What does it mean?

further findings, some UserGUIDs in the usage metrics are not found in AAD. That's the reason unnamed user are displayed. Why some user's GUID is not tracking correctly? In my testing, there is a report in a user's my work space, and never shared to others. In the metric report, the userGUID is not his account GUID in AAD, why?

In this post, it mentioned As most of the users are from Europe region, due to new privacy act, it just clubs all data into "Unnamed user" category. I wonder if this is correct. As in my report, I can see lots of European users name in the list.

I have the same issue. Some of users are shown as real name, but most of them are shown as unnamed user. All reports are viewed after login

Only "one", with 43 views. But my dashboard is protected and needs a username and password to view it
