Greetings,
Suddenly the web part on a SharePoint page will not load? The report as worked great for serveral weeks. I have tried another SharePoint site and several new pages. the result is the same. on the live page there is nothing visible, on the edit page when i select the Power BI web part it just says "loading report" and stays that way for ever.
has something changed?
thanks in advance.
wkc
I too have noticed this as of Fri Jun 14, 2019.
We see the Power BI Web Part trying to load "Loading Report..." with a circular icon that goes on indefinitely.
I checked the suggestion about P BI Licenses expiring for a user, but I don't see that as an issue for us. The users are licensed.
For us:
- The error only shows itself to an external guest user, (though a week ago it was working fine)
The external user can see our SharePoint Site / Page just fine, but the P BI Web part now won't load.
- Conversely, the same external user can see the Power BI Report through the use of Teams online (Web interface)
In other words, when we add a Power BI "Tab" to a Teams' Team, it displays just fine. It works there.
This further suggests the P BI licensing, ext user access is at least partially set up correctly.
The external user does not want to use Teams, but wants to see the P BI report in SharePoint.
Suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Hmm,
I just encountered this once, the reason then has been: the Pro trial license had been expired, maybe you are facing this reason.
Regards,
Tom
