Hi All,
Need your assistance to fix the below issue.
I have a report named "ABC" in the Production workspace, which initially used static RLS. Recently, I updated it to use dynamic RLS. Additionally, there is another report called "XYZ" in the Development workspace that references the semantic model from the "ABC" report.
After switching to dynamic RLS, the visuals in the "XYZ" report began failing with the error message: "A connection could not be made to the datasource." This issue did not occur when static RLS was in place.
Could someone help me understand the cause of this issue and guide me on how to resolve it? I’ve attached a screenshot of the error message for reference.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.🙂
Thanks.

If you are using power BI composite models to connect as far as I am away, dynamic Row Level security will not go between the composite models, otherwise. if this is a normal import semantic model, make sure that you have added the users to the role
