Using DirectQuery with Application Insights Web API

Can you use DirectQuery with a web API?

I'm able to generate an M Data Query through Application Insights and I want to use it to display real time data about my Azure Application. The M Data Query looks like:

The embeded instructions work perfectly and I have a sucessfully deployed Power BI Dashboard but it isn't updated anywhere close to real time. I believe DirectQuery would help me solve that but the docs don't specify an option to allow me to turn it on. Thanks!

Hi @Wi ,

Currently, it is not supported to connect web API with direct query mode. For a workaround, I found a blog it might help you.
