Users Cannot Access Apps from Power BI Homepage

Starting today, we've been getting reports from users that they cannot access Apps from the Power BI homepage (using either the "Favorites + frequents" list or the "Recents" list). When our users click on the icons for the Apps like they normally do, they get a screen that says "Building your app" that continuously loads until it times out (see below).

Our users are able to access the Apps by clicking on the "Apps" tab on the menu on left-hand-side of the screen and selecting the App icon from there. However, this is not intuative and we have a fairly large user base. We're receiving reports that it's pretty systemic throughout our entire organization across multiple offices.

Has this happened to anyone else? How did you solve this? Any ideas of what we could try would be helpful.

Hi @jgerke ,

It's a known issue. Engineers are working on a fix and expect it to be deployed by end of day 02/23/2020. You could follow the website: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/ to get the latest messages.

@v-xuding-msft Thank you - this is good to know! We'll watch for that fix.

What I have found happens from time to time, is that the users have NOT refreshed the entire page that they are viewing.

What happens if you get them to close the page and open it again?

Can they then access it via the previous ways?

@GilbertQ That's a good idea (and that's definitely something we've had happen before), but when we ask users to do that we haven't had any success. From other comments it sounds like this is an issue with Power BI itself. Thank you for your sugggestion!
