User activity report

I'm not sure if thos has been posted before, I'm new to Power BI and find my around creating reports with visual data.

We have SharePoint which is constantly running out of space (which we increase the storate space etc) what were tying to do is have a report that trends over time to see where the space is going. Also I can't seem to find a way to convert DisplayName, UPN or UserId

into a email address or name, is this possible?

I'm using Power BI for the first time, managed to follow a few guides online to Install Microsoft 365 Usage Analytics App, link this to our tenant id, synced with my office 365 credentials, Ihave a overview of the reports, under "User Activity" "SharePoint tab" I've filtered by deaprtment which I have a list of DisplayName, UPN and I've added UserId but can't seem to add or find a user's name/email address.

Thank you for the reply back, we don't use on Prem Activt directoy, all or services are on the cloud.

I'm adraid when looking at the data I don't see any email addresses I'm afraid.

I'll go ahead and follow the guide/link you've posted to link AD to PowerBI and see how I get on and come back to you.

When you look in the Power BI file and in the data do you not see any email addresses?

If not you might need to connect to your active directory to get the users?

I've actully found the answer and solution to my post/question from another post, Microsoft made changes a ffew years ago due to privacey and security whoch is understandable:
