【Urgent】Log In Error

I shared a report with my customer, who has different email domain, as we're from different companies.

She signed up for Power BI successfully, got the confirmation email from Microsoft Power BI.

But when she tried to sign in to Power BI, the following message showed up.

Error Message:

Something went wrong. Please try again later.

Sometimes, there's activity ID shows up in the bottom of the error message.

Activity ID:820b7007-8665-43aa-b79c-d7d5c13e64bb

Does anyone know what we should to solve this?

@Jinji is your customer clicking on the link they received in email from Power BI ? Also try different browsers. You can also make sure that dashboard is successfully shared by clicking on three dots, click Share -> Shared with.

Hi Ankit,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I shared the dashboard.

She couldn't sign in either from the report link, or from the Power BI home page.

IE11 is the only browser allowed in the customer's company, so I'm afraid they cannot try other browsers.

BTW, I checked the three dots, click Share -> Shared with, yes the customer's email address is on the list, no problem.

Don't know what to do next.

Have you/the client tried deleting their temp internet files in IE?

I've seen issues logging in before where deleting the temp files resolves the issue.
