Updating a datasett table change with cloud refresh.

Hello.

I have added another table to my main datasett and try to publish a new version of my main datasett (from Power BI desktop) i get the message that the datasett is configured with cloud refresh so it cant be updated this way.

How can i find out where my datasett is stored so i can update the cloud file?

This is the first datasett moved to a new domain and i belived i did target my main work area in sharepoint, but cant see the file there so ..

Hi @lorentzteigen ,

It is by design now if you use onedrive refresh in your dataset, you can't republish it again. You need to delete the report and dataset, and republish it again or you can pulish it with another name.  You refer to https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Developer/Publish-of-update-fails-with-error-about-cloud-refresh/td...

I suggest you create an idea for it in https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas to improve the power bi.

Thanks: Is there any way in PowerBI where you can see what onedrive file you have used, and where it is placed? I ended up moving the file to a new place on sharepoint/teams and connect to it there and everything works well, but i still cant see from PowerBI what file it is connected to so this is information that have to be stored somewhere else.

Hi @lorentzteigen ,

As far as I know, you can use rest api to get datasource from specified dataset in a specified workspace:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/datasets/get-datasources-in-group
