Unable to set Scheduled Refresh for data from shared email account

Hello,

I created a dashboard where data is coming from a shared email inbox but I am getting error "Failed to update data source credentials..." when setting the scheduled refresh. I have access to the shared email inbox and was able to create a dashboard but I cannot create a scheduled refresh, see screenshot below. Thank you

What happens if you change the privacy level to Organizational?

Also can you make sure that the connection detials you entered do successfully authenticate?

I tried all the options, Public, Private and Organizational but it did not work. And for this reason I cannot authenticate. But I was able to connect and get the data from the shared email inbox, I just cannot schedule refresh.

What happens if you use the On-Premise Gateway does that then work?

We cannot add a gateway to our data sources. I end up automating and saving it to a spreadsheet in Sharepoint and it works.
