Unable to export Underlying Data

Hi everyone!

Hi, I'm receiving an error when I try to export underlying data in Power BI Service.

Error is:

File couldn't be created

Executing the Query for the Export Data operation resulted in an error.

I have two version of my report.

The first one in the service works fine when i export the data, but the second one have more levels in the matrix (was a requirment) and this automaticaly does not let me export the data.

I see varius similarly ticket in this community and no one's was successfully resolve.

I check all the limitations of the underlying data in the Microsoft documents, but none of them solve my question.

Is because i have now more rows in the matrix??

Please check the difference in the images below.

First Report:

Second Report (Levels are highlighted) :

If this cant resolve, what other recomendation i have to export the data similar like underlying??

I need to recommend some solution soon to my client!

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Hi @PBInews ,

Have you solved your question?

Is the option "Export data" you said as the following show? or other ways?

At the same time please notice this information:

There is a recent update that effects users being able to export their reports to excel through access. I wonder if it affects Power BI also.

Hi @PBInews

have you tried to export the data as a CSV or as an Excel file to see if that works?
