Purpose: Embed a Power BI report in SharePoint online that takes URL filters.
Background: I need to embed the same report on multiple SharePoint sites. I'd like to create 1 pbix file then update the embed URL to include a department filter, i.e. the Finance SharePoint site would have a URL filter=department/name eq 'Finance'.
In the SharePoint WebPart, is there no way to pass URL filters? Does anyone have a work around?
According to Microsofts documentation, URL filters are not supported with the SPO web part.
Hi @slc7456 ,
I don't think it is possible to achieve dynamic url filter on sharepoint side. You need to manually edit sharepoint items to modify report link.

Xiaoxin Sheng
