The table has no visible columns and cannot be queried for all Snowflake Tables

I'm trying to figure out why I get the error message for every table when I try to pull it into Power BI. I'm using Snowflake, and it appears like I'm able to connect to the DB, but when I try to pull in any table, I get the message "The table has no visible columns and cannot be queried". I am using SSO and the only thing that changed before this started happening was a security update from my company's software. Is that possibly the cause as to why a can no longer pull tables from Snowflake into Power BI?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Power BI updates automatically.  I also came across an article from Feb. 2020 talking about an update they made to SSO with AAD, so that Gateway wasn't necessary anymore. It must be a Snowflake problem. Thank you.

Hi @Anonymous

I would also make sure that you have got the latest Gateway version installed?

After that if it still fails I would then contact Snowflake to see if they have made any changes?

What happpens when you view the data in Power BI Desktop, does it work?

Hi @Anonymous

I think you may refer to this blog: Using SSO Between Power BI and Snowflake and you sign in by your AAD in Power bi Desktop.

It seems that your error show in your Power BI Desktop.

Please check your credentials in Data source setting, you can try to remove your credentials and sign in to Snowflake again.

And Please check your Desktop version in About in power bi desktop.

If it is not 2.90.782.0 version, please update it to the latest version by this link: Desktop
