System Limit Error when connecting to Fabric Semantic Models

Hi , Since yesterday , we are unable to connect to our Fabric Workspace Semantic Models using PBI service , PBI Desktop and Excel.

All are giving the same error

" Couldn't complete the operation because we reached a system limit. We recommend having less than 40 warehouses and SQL analytics endpoints total in the workspace. After removing some items, refresh and try again. The exception was raised by the IDbConnection interface"

However , In our fabric workspace we do not have any warehouse and we have only 1 SQL analytics endpoint that gets auto created with the lake house. Our Fabric capacity is F256.

I reached out to support and waiting for a response. However , in the interim they did confirm that my workspace is well within the limits.

Hi, @Binu

You can check for hidden projects, there may be hidden or orphaned projects in your workspace that are causing restrictions. Review all the projects in your workspace to make sure there are no unexpected items.

Or review the capacity settings to ensure that your fabric capacity settings are configured correctly. Even if you have F256 capacity, you may have specific settings or limitations that need to be adjusted.

Hello @Binu ,

I suggest you create a new workspace and make a copy of the file you want to it and test it, maybe it's having caches or something.
