Switching Rows and Columns for Graphs

Is it possible to swap the column and rows around in a graph?

Similar or the same as the process of how you switch them around in excel with graphs.

My example of this being required is that I have around 6 columns put into the value section (all are elements of a retail store) of a graph and 1 column in the axis section (this is the store name) of the graph.

At the moment the graph appears with the 6 elements as the legend and the store names on the axis but I want it the other way around and cannot do this manually as the graph doesn't work then.

I have this same issue. Was there ever a solution?

Edit report, click on your chart, in the visualization settings, click the X to remove the field from the Legend. Drag your Store Name column to the Legend field. That will get you the stores in the legend. Drag the Store Name field out of your axis. Then, go to the format painter and turn on your Data Labels. That should get you pretty close to what you want.

DAX is easy, CALCULATE makes DAX hard...

To add to my previous response, if I put the store name in the Legend and put a feature of that store in the axis it comes up with an error triangle. If i move the feature of the store into the Value field it gives the desired outcome but I am only able to have 1 component put into that field at a time whereas I would like to have several.

Travis, Did you find a solution for this?

Travis, Did you solve this problem of Switching Rows and columns in the BI Graphs? Or do we need to go and change the way Data is tabulated?

Thanks for the reply.

When I try to put the store field into the Legend section it does not allow me to do this. When I select the tick box next to store on my field list it goes straight into the Axis section.

With Store Name being text as apposed to numbers it doesn't seem to want to go into any of the other sections. I probably should add that this is for a clustered bar chart.
