Hi Everyone,
Streaming datasets don't allow transformations on the data. It's so frustrating that PowerBI just goes ahead and transforms my data anyway to something I don't want!
I'm pushing JSON with a UK datetime format (dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss) to a streaming dataset. PowerBI then converts this to a US format (mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss) for some reason. Can I get Power BI to retain the original UK datetime format?
I've checked all my local datetime settings and they are all set to UK.
I've tried creating a new streaming dataset and loading 31/12/2019, PBI simply didnt accept the value (Because it's not in a valid US format?)
Thanks,
Lars
Hi @Anonymous ,
Based on my test, I found that we can't set the region for the data streaming, in your scenario, because CSV doesn't have a data format, as a result, PowerBI Service recognizes it as the US format.
Best REgards,
Teige
