Snapshot Data

Hi,

I have a dataset that has dynamic data from a daily refresh:

IDStatusCreate DateEnd Date
1Open5/1/2020
2Closed 5/5/20205/20/2020
3Pending 5/3/2020

This data refreshes every day so each row will ultimately change its 'Status' and 'End Date'.

Is there a way to save a snapshot of the data so that every time it refreshes I can see the new status for the distinct ID?

For example

IDStatusCreate DateEnd DateLoad Date
1Open5/1/2020 5/20/2020
1Closed 5/1/20205/21/20205/21/2020
2Closed 5/5/20205/20/20205/20/2020
2Closed 5/5/20205/20/20205/21/2020
3Pending 5/3/2020 5/20/2020
3Closed 5/3/20205/21/20205/21/2020

Hi @Anonymous ,

I saw a similar post I recently. It's about in which scenario Power BI will save or drop old data when using Incremental refresh.

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Incremental-refresh-changes-in-old-data/m-p/971408

Hopefully works for you.

Best Regards,

Jay
