Show map data over a timespan with a slider

Huh - first post - please be patient with me.

I searched already with all keywords which came to my mind and didn't find it.
Before I waste more time I want to ask if my idea is possible in PBI.

I want to show the growth of stores in a country on a map - I have the city and the year the store opened.
Now I like a slider so that a person could manually "slide" trough the years and the map shows the stores --
is that possible in PBI and what are the right search words for me to find the solution -- time & slider & timeline etc. didn't work for me.
(Additional info: Stores come in 3 different flavours -- so 3 colors for the blobs marking a store -- possible too?)

Not possible in power bi maps as far as I have seen.

However, it is fairly simple in Excel power map.

Would love to see power bi maps include more of the functionality available in excel power map.
