Hello everyone,
I have a report in Power BI where I have created some roles so I can share it to managers and they only see specifc data that is relevant to them.
The issue I have is that I want these managers to be able to share their filtered report to their team and the team only see the data that is relevant to them (i.e. based on their managers role).
Is anyone aware of a method to do this as I don't have a list of everyone who needs access and only the specific managers?
Thanks for your help.
Hi @scwork98
You will always need a list of users to allow what they can or cannot see.
The best way to do this is to create an Azure Active Directory (AAD) Security Group per manager. Then ask the manager to add the users to this AAD Security Group.
All you would need to configure is the AAD Security Group per role. The manager would then be responsible for allowing additional users access?
