Sharing Dashboard without database

Hello together,

Is it possible to create a database, and enable other users to create report ant dashboard WITHOUT editing the Database? The scope is to provice to a specific department a dataset from where they can create reports and dashboards they want, but without giving them the choice to edit (idealy see) the database.

As I've understood Content packs allow you to share the reports and dashboards, but as soon the other users edit them, a copy of the existing content pack will be created.

Workspaces on the other hand allow you to work togeher with other colleagues, but they will be able to edit the database.

Hi @gopowerbi,

As you mentioned, current it seems like only organization content pack can suitable for your situation.
AFAK, current power bi app not support these features which you mentioned. So, I'd like to suggest you submit an ideas to ideas forumn to help us improve power bi app.
