SharePoint issues

Hi all,

I have a report with visuals who are retrieved from an Excel on SharePoint. Works great in PowerBI Desktop but when I publish, the visual gives an error.

Aside from that, I made a gateway for the connection to the SQL and also want to connect to SharePiont but here the same problem although different error.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi there, I think a gateway is necessary since the connection itself is asking me for it.

When I click on the SP connection and select OAuth0 as connection, the error is given and when I ask for details, the message below is given.

I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.
This is the entire error message.

The config is just an Excel located on our SharePoint which can be accessed by logging in through our O365 account. From PowerBI Desktop this works fine but it goes wrong from the online version which I need since I want to share this report with colleagues.

I recently did a similar deployment and I think when you have your source as a SharePoint, You don't need a gateway, and most of the time either it is credentials or permission to the directory is the main issue.

Hi @TomBelgium ,

It is hard to troubleshooting from your description without any detailed informations. Could you please share more detailed information about these issues? (e.g. snapshot,  the entire error message, configurations...)
