Service principal admin APIs, authorisation errors

Hi,

I have been trying to use admin APIs with a service principal but only getting a couple of the APIs work with it.

I have given the necessary tenant permissions in Azure AD (gave application permissions not delegated permissions, Tenant All Read and Tenant All Write), allowed SPs to run read only Admin APIs in the tenant settings (created a security group put the SP in it and gave this group access to it actually). But I keep getting "Message : Response status code does not indicate success: 401 (Unauthorized)."

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Here are a few of them which did not work:

• GetAppsAsAdmin
• GetCapacityUsersAsAdmin
• GetDataflowsAsAdmin
• GetDatasetUsersAsAdmin

Interesting. Did you saturate the API with more than 200 calls?

No. It was only a few manual tries.

What APIs are you calling?  They may not be covered by Tenant Read All.
