We've had dataset refreshes set up and have done for a long time (3-4 years). This morning a random selection of our datasets got the error message ServerError_DMTS_MonikerDatasourcesNotFoundErrorCode (screenshot 1). When checking the datasets (screenshot 2) it appears that the data source connection has randomly dropped off for the datasets. Why has this happened?
To fix this I had to go into each dataset and reselect the data source connection from the dropdown list under the "Maps To" part (Screenshot 2) and manually refresh the dataset

Hi @LukeB
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
As multiple users are experiencing the same issue, we recommend raising a support ticket.

Thank you.
@KarenL7 No I didn't raise a support ticket as the resolution for us was to re-map each dataset to the pre made data source connection. It's just strange how that mapping had randomly dropped off.

I assume Microsoft made a change or an update that may of affected this as I can see other people have raised this today with the same issues.

@LukeB - I did not see your message yesterday. I did note that late yesterday this issue was suddenly resolved.
Microsoft did not ask for any of us to create a support ticket? I am unsure if you did? - but can confirm all is good now - I am unsure what Microsoft put in place to fix - hopefully all is good for you now.
Thanks
Karen
