Send an email to users after multiple report refresh succeeded

Hi ,

I have 5 reports in different workspaces and these reports refreshes daily.I want to send an email to users after the refresh completed for all reports.How can I do it?

Hey,

Couple of queries before we work on a proper solution :

1) Are all the reports refreshed currently based on Power BI service schedule or is it via some other way via power automate/ADF etc?

2) Are all reports refreshed during same time in a day or during different times

reports refreshed in an hour time interval ,refresh started at same time but refresh completed at different time for different reports.

all reports are scheduled through power bi services.

So to achive your use cases:

1) you can leverage Power automate or any automation tools like Azure data factory to trigger the PowerBI datasets parallely via REST API and schedule the job rather than the reports refresh via powerbi service.

2) At the end of refresh of all reports, you can use logic app/power automate to send an email notification

Hi @neeraj17 ,

You can  monitor refresh status with Power Automate and upon completion send a mail to a distribution list
