I have a matrix style visualization with 19 fields in the Rows visualization (i.e. levels in the drill-down hierarchy). It works fine in the developer mode (Workspaces > [select workspace] > [reports tab] > [select the report] > [select the report page or tab]), but when published as part of an App, when you drill down to the last 3 levels of the hierarchy, the vertical scroll bar stops working. You can slide the scroll bar, but the data in the matrix doesn't move with it. There is no spinning pinwheel indicating the system is "working on it" or similar.
In addition, there are also 19 columns of data in the matrix. The only way to see all 19 columns is to narrow-up the columns sufficiently so they are all visible on your screen. There is no horizontal scrollbar regardless of what level of the hierarchy you are drilled-down to.
Hi @Anonymous
I can't reproduce your problem.
I add 19 columns to the Row field of the Matrix, and then try "drill down" or "expand all" icon, it goes well for everything.
Could you change another web browser to see if problem happens?
Best Regards
Maggie
Thanks for checking into this, Maggie. I already tried multiple browsers and have the same issue regardless. I should have stated that in my original post - my apologies.
I am facing this issue in both the desktop application and in browser after I published the report.
I am not able to scroll horizontally in Matrix based report. I have 27 fields (columns) total and few of the columns have sub totals enabled.
So I figured only the value fields(metrics) are scollable horizontally.
When the no. of columns is more, you need to sqeeze all the dimension fields together so that you can atlest see one Value column, you can see the horizontal scroll bar then.
If you have recently started exploring Fabric, we'd love to hear how it's going. Your feedback can help with product improvements.
