Hi,
I created a report that has a data table (sql database) that pulls from another data table (static excel file). However, the excel file has since been moved/deleted (not by my doing) and I am unable to run scheduled refreshes due to this. I merged queries in Power Query to basically like a date to see if its a holiday or not. I was wondering if there is a way to basically schedule a refresh without considering this data source?
I googled and this is what I found and attempted but it is not working. I unchecked these boxes in Power Query.
I basically do not need the file to be refreshed at all and Just need my other data sources to be refreshed on the schedule.
Any assistance is appreciated! Thanks 🙂

Do you have a replacement file with the holidays?
You are holding the wrong end of the OneDrive stick. Go to your OneDrive folder, right click, "View Online" and then use the SharePoint Folder connector to get to the file (NOT the Web connector).
I do not have access to the folder as it is on a previous employees laptop. Is there a way around?
Do you have the PBIX file or can you download it from the service?
I do have the PBIX file.
Go to the Power Query Editor and remove that data source.
The Holiday File is linked to the Date Dimension file to basically create a column in date dimension that says if its a holiday or not based on my companies holiday schedule through 2030. The holiday file does not change or be refreshed but it is merged into date dimension.

Yes I do.
