Can't schedule a data refresh. The following appears:
You can't schedule refresh for this dataset because one or more sources currently don't support refresh.
These are all SQL Server instances. Why can't I refresh this?

It could be that the data source name that you used to configure it in the Power BI Service under Gateways is not the identical same name as your Server name.
Below is a blog post below, and whilst it refers to an Oracle database it will be the exact same process for a SQL Server.
These data sources were working. The data source in this report works in another report. This is an unstable behavior that needs to be addressed
Did you include function with parameters your Power Query?
Currently, refresh is not supported for functions. You can vote this idea. Please refer to threads below :
