So I'm pulling data from a Salesforce report. I just recently added 1 new column and updated 1 filter on the Salesforce report. In Salesforce these changes made my report go from 20 records to 50.
In Power BI, I click refresh to refresh the data, I go to the Data tab and view the Saleforce Table. I don't see the new column, and the data still shows 20 records. I click Edit Query, still no new data. I click the Model tab to see the model, and the new column doesn't appear up in the Salesforce Table.
What do I need to do that doesn't involve destroying the table and reimporting everything?

Hi @Starseed ,
Have you set credential for your data source? After you publish the SalesForce reports to Power BI Service, go to Settings->Datasets and find your dataset, you should find that Power BI Service connect directly to your SalesForce data source, after you edit the credential for your data source, you are able to schedule the dataset to refresh or manually referesh.

Hi @Starseed i know this reply is very late lol, but were you able to find a solution? As a workaround, maybe you can try to test your connection with a 3rd party connector. I've tried windsor.ai, supermetrics (which doesn't have PBI as a destination, so you first have to export to Google Sheets and then export to PBI) and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the Salesforce connector in the data sources list:
After that, just grant access to your Salesforce account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your Salesforce fields:
There just select the fields you need. It is also compatible with custom fields and custom objects, so you'll be able to export them through windsor. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.
