Row level security - export data

Hi,

I have a problem with RLS. It works fine in service as everyone is seeing the restricted information, but when exporting data to excel the RLS is not working anymore (not only in the 'view as' role but also in real).

Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your reply! Clear, but in this case indeed this group is defined as viewer. Are there reasons why RLS would not work when exporting?

Hi @LLT1021 ,

Did you give them access to the dataset?

You need to have the "viewer" role in order for row-level security to be enforced for export. If you have higher access than viewer (member, contributor, admin), RLS will not apply.
