Row Level Security Issue

Hi

I'm wondering if RLS is ignored if you're an admin?

I've designed a simple report in desktop, and set a role (RLS) on a User table, if I "View as Roles" it works exactly as expected

I've published this, I can see the role against the dataset, then if I "Test as Role" it again works exactly as expected (also if I select different users to test)

But if I open the the report ffrom the [Report] tab I see everything

Hi @Anonymous

As you have edit permission,RLS could not work as requested. Please check below article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-admin-rls#using-rls-with-app-workspaces-in-power-bi

'If you have configured the app workspace so that members have edit permissions, the RLS roles will not be applied to them. Users will be able to see all of the data.'
