Hi,
I'm looking for help on the exporting of data from one visualisation only in an otherwise restricted report.
Essentially, the report contains two "line and clustered column" visualisations; we need one to be restricted from being exported and one allowed.
Is this possible? Or is it simply that the report can only be either restricted or allowed generally? Is there an otherwise custom visualisation that can provide this feature?
Thanks for your advice in advance!
Hi @Anonymous
It is impossible to allow one visual to export data and another not.
"Export data"feature can be enable or disabled under Tenant setting of Power BI Admin portal.
According to the limitation of the "export data" feature:
"Custom visuals and R visuals, are not currently supported."
As a workaround, you could create custom visuals to replace the default "line and clustered column" visualisation, such as "Advanced combo visuals".
hus, you could export data from "line and clustered column" visualisation, but can't export data from the custom visual.
Best Regards
Maggie
