Report automatically goes to the page that I was on when I last visited.

Hi everyone,

I am a bit new to power BI. Hence I am not sure if I have configured it incorretly or something. Please let me know.

The thing is,  from the main page of my report, it has numerous tiles which navigate you to internal report pages. So, say suppose, once published, I open this report and from the front page, I clicked on a specific tile, and I am viewing an internal page. I look at the data and I am fine.

Now I go to another workspace and view a different report. Then when I come back to the first report, it does not take me the first page, where ideally it should take me, rather it takes me to the page which I was viewing when I last visited it.

Can someone tell me what is it that might needs to be changed to alter this behaviour ?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Choose the report , then "Settings"——Persistent filters——enable "Don't allow end user to save filters on this report".

Hi @Anonymous ,

I think what you are mentioning reports with tiles is Dashboard.

Not sure if I understood your query correctly but try to check persistent filtering option as below:
