Report Builder print parameters

I am creating a Paginated Report in order to print a long table that is currently available in a Power BI report in Report Server. This is my first attempt to use Report Builder.

The report visualizes sales amount for different sales channels, locations and payment options in a matrix.

For audit purposes I want the report to display the parameters (filters) that I have chosen (i.e. the date period) when I print it.  How can I do that?

In order for the parameters to filter the dataset, do I have to do more than to add the dates under the parameter folder?
