Refreshing Data

Dears, 

I really need help on this to understand from where i can start, I have built my report on power bi desktop that is fetch data from API, I create a new M query and also i built the pagination and it works fine with me on the desktop and it refreshed without any issue. But when I published this to portal and I want to set a schedule refresh it doesn't work, and this is the error:

This dataset includes a dynamic data source. Since dynamic data sources aren't refreshed in the Power BI service, this dataset won't be refreshed. Learn more: https://aka.ms/dynamic-data-sources.

Any one have any Idea about this? and how can i solve this issue?

Here is a work around from Chris Webb, which will allow you to get it working
