Hello,
I shared a report to an external user (not in my organization), his user (with PowerBI Pro licence) is mapped as guest user of my organization.
Last year the on-demand refresh button was triggered simply clicking on it with a GET HTTP request, now this is made impossible by Microsoft to re-create and all my old flows has now the diamond Premium symbol although I'm not a Power Automate Premium user.
We both have to pay PowerBI Pro licence in order to have him visualizing and me sharing and protecting my pbix from download or editing. We have a limit of 8 refreshes per day. Is it now requested to pay a license in Power Automate too to have him decide when to refresh? What can we do?
The in-report refresh button is now working for me, but not for him when report is shared.
We can't consider to switch to DirectQuery because of various calculation methods (Dax and M functions applied).
Thanks
Hi @AGo ,
As far as I know, you can refer these documentations if they help:
Automatic page refresh in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Data refresh in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Solved: Power Automate Triggered PowerBI Dataset Refresh - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)
Hope these help you.

Calling API with GET method via url seems to have been silently deprecated. My question is about the new no-code method and external users.
Thanks
