Hi
i am trying to publish a report build in Power BI Desktop to web and have a problem with certaint numbers in it. Data source is sql server.
These are the (correct) numbers which show sales for different item groups in Power BI Desktop and in Power BI web:
After connecting the dataset to a gateway and refreshing data it looks like this:
All the articles or article groups with changed numbers have in common that they have a special mark in the original data source. The rows in power query editor show the correct numbers.
The remaining numbers in power bi web are correct.
Has anybody ever had a problem like this? I am a little bit helpless.
Could it be because of different separators period and comma in the US and Europe? Then the whole data would be wrong, not only a few, wouldn't they?
Thank you very much in advance 🙂
Usually issues like this are either caused by the data model (unconnected tables) or by meta data changes that you haven't properly propagated from Power BI Desktop to workspace to App.
Hi @MS2121
Looking at your examples some of the data matches exactly and others do not.
It would appear that there is something different in the other columns which cause the issue. I would suggest looking at one column and trying to resolve the error there?
