Hi @madiehc25 ,

First of all, please check that you created the data flow correctly.

Please refer to the following document on how to correctly create a data flow: Creating a dataflow - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

After you have created the data flow correctly, you can set the Dataflow Refresh.

To better understand how a dataflow refresh operation performs, review the Refresh History for the dataflow by navigating to Dataflow > Settings > Refresh History.

You can also select the dataflow in the Workspace > context menu (…) > Refresh History.

But please be careful: Using dataflows in the same workspace allows straightforward orchestration.

If you have dataflows A, B and C in a single workspace, and chaining like A > B > C, then if you refresh the source (A), the downstream entities also get refreshed.

However, if you refresh C, then you'll have to refresh others independently.

Also, if you add a new data source in dataflow B (which is not included in A) that data will not be refreshed as a part of orchestration.

For more data stream refreshes, please refer to the following documentation: Understanding and optimizing dataflows refresh - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

Hope this helps you.
