Refresh Statistics

Is there any way to get refresh statistics. Depending on who setup our dataset refreshes, the only way we might know if a dataset refresh failed is by logging in to the service and looking at the refresh status of each and every dataset (it only alerts you if you are the owner).

It would be much better if we could have a report that encompases all datasets that lists all refreshes, the status (success, failure, etc.) and the next refresh. Maybe in a table or single report that can be checked each morning.

Is there any way to get this sort of information?

Thanks in advance!

Can you set up a shared email address and/or forward copy emails to both of you from that shared email address? I have not found any other way to do that on my end. I have transferred ownership of all of our reports to me so that I receive the email as I am the person reponsible for fixing it.

Hi @welnick,

If you have edit access to that dashboard or report, or have a Pro license, you can use Usage Metrics. When you run either dashboard usage metrics or report usage metrics, you discover how those dashboards and reports are being used throughout your organization; what is being used, by whom, and for what purpose. More details, please review: Measure and magnify your impact with dashboard and report Usage Metrics for content creators.

I am aware of this, but not what I am trying to get to.

I am the owner of multiple apps and workspaces as the contect creator. There are other apps and workspaces that my manager owns. We are both administrators to each other's project. We have the data refresh each day to all of our datasets, but sometimes the dataset refresh fails. The only way to know is when I receive an email from the server or if I go in and look at each dataset in each workspace. I don't know if my manager's datasets failed unless I go into his workspace and look.

I would prefer having a report or some '1 stop shop' that I could go and see the status of all the dataset refreshes in my company. Is there a way to SQL the servers or anything?

figured this would be the only way. We can do something like that, I was just hoping for a more report like solution.

Thanks!
