RLS via SSAS tabular live connection

Hello everyone

We are having an SSAS tabular cube and we are using a live connection.  I have an enterprise gateway set up. The definition of the Row Level Security is on the SSAS tabular cube (DAX Filter). We have created a test user where he is a member of one AD group. That AD group has read access to the role defined in SSAS tabular cube (DAX filter = show only data for comapny 1000). The AD group has viewer role to workspace where the test report is. So in theory, when that test user opens the report, then the defined RLS settings should filter the report and view data for only comapny 1000 for testuser. Right? Because when I open the report, then I see all companies. Which means RLS is not working. I also checked that the user name for test user in Azure AD matches with UPN in my local Active Directory instance. Am I missing any setting needed for this? I am totally clueless about why it is not working.

Regards

PP

Hello @PBIDEV_10,

Would you be able to add some screenshots of your DAX query please ?

Did you add the DAX filter on your fact table or in a dimension ? I would put in the dimension which will filter the fact table.

Regards,
