RLS and alerts

Hi all,

I have a question regarding how alerts work with RLS. Currently I have one report with RLS applied (filtered by department) and I want to make a dashboard with some metrics that will trigger the alert, but that alert is going to be triggered with all data and not the filtered data, right? Moreover, I use Microsoft Flow to send the email, meaning that all people in the contact list will receive it..

Hi @martaredondo ,

Based on my test, if a user set a alert on a dashboard with RLS, he will only received the filtered data (we set two alert for the viewer, one is greater than 3 and another one is greater than 10)

But if a user who can access all data set the alert and send the email to others, this email will include the current value will not be filtered because it is set by a user who can access all the data.

mine is not working 😞

the view is restricted for the users but the email they received is for all projects instead of their project only.
