I'm looking for help troubleshooting this query string parameter.
https://app.powerbi.com/groups/55fd9723-89e3-453e-9933-a452292c914f/reports/d0136ec3-5cc1-4ac9-a0f0-... eq '0004333587095234581609'
Specifically, when I put this URL into the browser, the report opens, the filter pane recognizes MEMBER_ID_CHAR, but then the report is not filtered and the filter pain says "is (All)" for the filter applied. I tried the above value manually in the page filter pane and everything works. The field itself is a string value and I've even tried using a different field in case Power BI was confusing the data type as numeric.
I've read this documentation (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-url-filters#date-data-types) and watched 2 guy in a cube videos and can't figure this out.
One other clue is that the filter panel has an error symbol on it. With some research it looks like Power BI might not be able to pull back the list.
Make sure you got the right spelling, and that the field you filter by actually has an impact on that particular report page.
Wonder if underscore needs to be escaped?
