Is there a way to find out why publishing a report just hangs?
I'm stuck on the Publishing to Power BI window, with the little spinner slowly spinning away and nothing happening.
It's a small report - 298KB, I'm publishing to Premium capacity. I have full rights to publish, all I'm doing is republishing an existing report. Powerbi.com has seemed slow all day.
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/ and Service Health on Azure tell me everything is just fine. (Mind you when a full datacenter was down, they told me the same thing.)
Any suggestions for where to look for more details or better yet a solution would be appreciated.
Today the same report on the same computer (without a reboot or anything) works normally. Must have been a powerbi.com hiccup.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Have you tried looking in the Power BI Premium Capacity Metrics App and see if there are issues with memory or CPU in your capacity?
You have to be a Capacity Admin for the data to appear in the app.
Thanks. Unfortunately, we don't seem to be currently hitting our memory or CPU limits accodring to the app.
