Hello,
I removed the Project Online content pack by accident, and when i try to re-add it, i get the following error after i enter the oAuth2 credentials.
"Failed to update data source credentials."
Does anyone have any ideas on this?
Thanks
Jeff
Hi @uhlig @uthall@thanakom @Darren @httpftp123,
The issue is resolved, please check that if you have any problems connecting to Project Online content pack.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Hi @uthall @httpftp123 @andrear,
There is an internal issue stating this problem that user is unable to connect to Project Online Content Pack, and engineer is working on this issue. I will post back once I get any updates.
Besides, as a temporary workaround for this issue, you can connect to Project Online using Get Data-> OData feed entry in Power BI Desktop following the instructions in this blog , then create your reports and publish them to Power BI Service.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Hello Lydia
do yo have any update?
Same issue here since two weeks, not only with the content pack but with all ODATA Connections from Power-BI Online to Project Online. What is the status?
Hi @uhlig @uthall@thanakom @Darren @httpftp123,
As mentioned in the Power BI Support site, regarding to the Project Online content pack issue, engineers are working on preparing the fix. Please take a look the update time.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
@Anonymous
From my point of view this is not only an issue of the content pack for Project Online but an issue for ALL Odate reporting for Project Online in Power-BI. Moreover this issue is now persistent for more than one month which prevents all userers of Project Online from Reporting in Power-BI in case they need to modify and therefore republish a report because no credential update is possible. I now received a notice from the support that the issue is identified but rolling out the fix will take till mid of January 2017. This is hard to accept for paying customers that such a major issue last more than 2 month.
Could you please describe the issue more in Detail as this seems to be only between Power BI ONline and Project Online as refreshes from Power BI Desktop work.
Hi Lydia
