Problem with a gateway when credentials expires

I have an issue each time my domain account credentials expires / being reset.

The credentials were used when installing/registering the on-premise gateway on Azure VM:

When the credentials change the gateway is being disconnected. 

I then have to go to the gateway settings and sign-in. That solves the issue.

Ones happend I was on holiday and the org was left without being able to access the data / reports.

I want to avoid this. 

Any advice?

Hi @Anonymous ,

It also good to have a service account, Instaed of your login create a service account.
Also, We have an option of  "Take over" for Dataset settings , any member or admin of that workspace can "Take over" the dataset settings and able to data refresh.

As I know service account does not have an email adress associated with. Can I sign-in without the email?

"Take over" dataset is not a solution in case you have dozen of datasets.
