I didnt changed any gateway setting but this error occurs while refresh schedule
Solved! Go to Solution.
@abilash The status code 400 suggests a bad request, which could be due to various reasons such as invalid parameters or issues with the service itself.
Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
Check Dataset Settings: Ensure that the dataset settings, including the data source credentials and gateway configurations, are correct and have not been altered.
Verify Gateway Status: Even though you mentioned not changing any gateway settings, it's a good idea to verify that the gateway is online and functioning correctly. You can do this by going to the "Manage Gateways" section in the Power BI service.
Review Dataset Permissions: Make sure that the dataset has the necessary permissions to access the data sources. Sometimes, permission issues can cause refresh schedule errors.
Check for Service Outages: Occasionally, Power BI services may experience outages or disruptions. Check the Power BI service status page to see if there are any ongoing issues.
Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, browser cache issues can cause unexpected errors. Try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser to see if the issue persists.

Hi @abilash
These errors happen when Power BI can’t validate the data source credentials or there's a mismatch in the gateway settings even if you haven’t made any recent changes. Sometimes it’s just that the credentials have expired in the background, or something got out of sync after a Power BI update.
Could you please check these things:
Go to the dataset settings in the Power BI Service and re-enter the credentials for your data source (even if they look fine).
Make sure the correct gateway is still selected, especially if you're using an on-premises one.
Confirm that your user account still has permission to access the underlying data especially if the source is on a shared server or uses different credentials.
Occasionally, browser cache or Power BI service hiccups can also cause this. Try clearing your cache or switching to a different browser to see if it helps.
Also, if the error still persists, try going to Refresh History > View Details to see the specific message there sometimes that gives more insight into what exactly is failing.
