We recently moved away from import and are now running our solution using Direct Query. Is there any reason to keep our Premium Capacity around to support the solution?

Please kindly refer to below comparison:
You can find that P2 has the double DQ connection amounts than P1, if you're going to change the connection mode to DQ, I'd suggest you taking the P2 .for large audience when access the DQ report, P2 could perform better.

We are currenly using a p2. Would it makes sense to lower this to a P1 since we do not require the additional capacity anymore but require a license for a large audience?
