PowerBi Service Refresh

Hi all

I need some help from the community on Powerbi failing to refresh. I googled on the topic, I have not been able to sort out.

1. I have created a simple Excel File on One Drive for Business  with 3 records ( as simple as Product Id and Quantity)

2: I created a report on PowerBi Desktop. 

3:If I update the Excel Sheet, and I refresh my report on Desktop, no issue at all

Now on PBI Service:

4: I publish the report.

5: if I update the Excel Sheet, and I refresh my report on PowerBi Service,  it fails with an error of " Schedued Refresh disabled" I am requested to renter credentials on the Dataset setting. But this is greyed out and canot proceed.  See screenshot below. How do I sort the refresh issue.? Please assist me. Thanks.

you need to setup the first the cloud connection then the Data source cloud credentials

Thank you. Do I need to install the personal gateway? Thanks to advise me.

Hi @JaweedL ,

It looks like you are connecting to a local data source, based on the fact that your data source is excel, download Personal Gateway enough.
