I am getting the below error frequently in PBI Service. Clearing browser cache doesn't seem to help. Can someone tell me what needs to be done to fix this? Thanks.
Your Power BI session expired
The current Power BI session can no longer be used to communicate with the Power BI service because of a service modification. You must close and re-open your browser to start a new session.
Thanks. Works in incognito mode but looking for a permanent solution.
Thanks for your response @ichavarria . I closed and opened a new broswer session and also cleared my cache. I even tried a different browser (Chrome vs Edge). What security settings are you referring to?
Hi @Puja215,
The error message you are seeing indicates that there was a change to the Power BI service while you were logged in, and your current session can no longer communicate with the service. This can happen due to a variety of reasons, such as a service outage or a change in security settings.
To resolve this issue, you will need to close your browser and re-open it to start a new session. If you continue to experience this issue after restarting your browser, try clearing your browser cache and cookies, or try using a different browser.
If the problem persists, it may be worth checking the Power BI support site or contacting Microsoft support for further assistance. They may be able to help diagnose the issue and provide a solution.
Best regards,
Isaac Chavarria
