When clicking export data on a table in PowerBI Service I am getting an error "Power BI file couldn't be created Executing the Query for the Export Data operation resulted in an error". I've seen a few messages on the forums about similar issues but was not able to find a resolution. The table in question is well under the 150,000 row limit but I am able to export when I filter the report down to a fewer amount of rows.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, thanks for the response. I am not seeing any errors within the data. I am able to export in the desktop version of the report, not sure if that tells you anything.
Hi @visbecks
Sorry for the late reply.
Given we have so little information at this time, I can't tell what's causing your problem. You can create a support ticket for free and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you.
It would be great if you continue to share in this issue to help others with similar problems after you know the root cause or solution.

Hi @visbecks
I have seen this happen in the past when there is an issue with your underlying data, and that is why it cannot export. I would ensure that the data types and the data has no errors in it.
